Powdered steel with a higher hardness than HWS® Isotropic and with high wear resistance. It can be nitrided and coated.
Hard cuts of AHSS sheets (advanced high strength steels) with mechanical strength of more than 600 MPa [87 ksi] and up to 1600 MPa [232 ksi] and / or significant thicknesses. Fine punch tools and thin molds. Molds for powder presses, bakelites, loaded thermoplastics, composites or other molds in which high pressures are applied. Blades for circular and rectangular cutting, mills in plastic or guillotine cutting. Hot forging where heat shock is not a critical factor.
