It is a stainless steel Ni – Cr – Mo characterized by high hardenability and toughness.
Good resistance to repeated shocks, discreet insensitivity to temperature variations and good wear resistance.
Main applications include:
- mold blocks hammers and pile drivers
- decks for hammers
- cylinder hot rolling mills
- dies and punches very hard for cold work.
